This morning we hiked the Ribbon Trail. A strange land. There is a very large area of flat rock that goes for maybe a mile. At the edges are drop offs to pink and white striped rock. People mountain bike this but it would be pretty tough in my opinion. Amazing how different this was from other hikes on the trip. Bangs Canyon area has a number of trails and is East of the Colorado National Monument. The Lunch Loops bike trails, which are numerous, connect into part of this area. A cloudy day which is kind of nice after all the sun we have had the last few days.
