Today I parked at the Upper Falls park on 189. There is a walking or bike trail there. Right now it is walking as there is some snow. I walked on the trail to Canyon Glen Park and went up Upper Falls trail and Bridal Veil Falls trail. Both trails are less than 1 mile RT. Bridal Veil Falls is impressive and the wind was pulling large sheets of water out in waves. The walking trail follows the Provo River and is surrounded by mountains. There are other trails going up into the canyon beyond the two I went on.
Some may wonder why I wasn't skiing. I discovered after skiing that a medical issue wasn't compatible with skiing. Very unfortunate as the skiing is good and forecast calls for 1+ feet of snow tonight. Such is life.
In the afternoon I went to the WOW trails. Mountain biking trails that are too snowy/muddy for biking just yet.
Then I stopped by the crater. A strange place where a hot spring comes up inside this bee hive type mountain. You can float around in there and is something I should do later in the week.
I also checked out the trains in Heber City. A reconditioned train station and an assortment of trains and railroad cars. Interesting.
