This was the first day of Spring skiing on this trip. And it was full on Spring. 50 degrees and amazingly sunny. I like the winter powder of the first two weeks but this has advantages also. Warm, sunny, and ski anything snow. You need to spend more time determining where the snow will be soft but not too soft. Today worked out well with Peak 10 in the morning and then lots of higher altitude exploring off the Imperial lift. The run of the day was Whales Tail which goes off the back of the Imperial Lift. Long run facing NE which had great snow in the afternoon. Two lifts to get back up but a great one. Peak 6 also has a N facing bowl that was great late in the day.
