This hike was only five miles from Katherine and Chris's house in the city. Hard to park on a Sat but plenty of trails with few people once you could park. I parked about a mile away from the planned trail due to parking issues but managed to get to the top of Mt Muscoco as planned. Views of Cheyenne Mountain and Pikes Peak. You can mtn bike on these trails and they would be great for that. Smooth, lots of switch backs, and banked corners. It was 60 degrees today so no longer winter for now.
I also did a loop on the Sweetwater trail and went up to the Gold Camp road. Parked at the bottom of Daniels Pass trail. You can see lots of switch backs on the map.
