In the afternoon after the McInnis area hiking I drove the road at Colorado National Monument and went on a series of short walks. Great canyon views and the temp was 55 up on the rim so nice weather for walking. One trail to avoid in the future is Liberty Cap Trail. I think this would be good starting from the other end. Starting from the rim it wasn't too excited particularly when compared to everything else today. I saw climbers on Independence Monument. Looks hard to me but a lot of people go up it.
