A hike up and ski down with Chris this morning: Cheyenne Canyon Section 16. A beautiful morning. We arrived at sunrise and then headed up the trail. The snow was nice powder and we were able to ski in the woods between switchbacks in a few places on the way down. Amazing to be able to do this less than ten miles from the house. I missed my back country skis. I used snow shoes up and my downhill gear on the way down. It still worked out.
