Island in the sky entrance. This is a nice park!
I saw a deer on the Syncline trail and many lizards. And many canyons! The green river can also be seen in the distance and all the canyons created by it.

Upheaval Dome. A crator? Different area of the park.
Whale rock. Views back to Upheaval Dome area
Aztec Butte. Pretty cool area. Some rock storage areas from another time and a climb up a hill with great views. Some snow covered mountains in the distance.
Green River from overlook on road
This was the hike of the day. Gooseberry trail. Very steep trail into an awesome canyon. Felt safe on trail but some dramatic drop offs and a few areas you had to pay attention.
This is an overlook at the end of the day on my way out of the park. There is a road suitable for two wheel drive cars that goes down into the canyon. I would rather hike down. A lot safer!
