Day 1 skiing in Colorado. Blue sky Spring day. The back bowls were the best area today. We did a pretty big tour of all areas of the mountain in the morning. Blue Sky basin is a new area from when I skied there a long time ago. It wasnt good snow today but looks like it would be good in other conditions.
Vail is still Vail just bigger. Lots of shops and you have to pay to park! Obviously sleeping in the parking lot in your car is long gone!
No lift lines to speak of today and no traffic on 70. Nice! Another fine day in the mountains.
