Coyote Mountains

It was a cloudy day with snow off and on. Above freezing air temp so snow melted when it hit the ground where I was. I went to Coyote Mountains again since it is close and no views today. I will rename it Elk Hills. Saw two Elk up close and a number moving by in the distance. Lots of elk tracks, elk poop, deer poop everywhere. Area is very open and very similar over many miles and elevation differences. some 4-6 foot trees, some low bushes with yellow tops, and some cactus. Easy to spot moving animals. I also saw some Black Billed Magpie's with white tip wings. Lots of high mountains in the distance that you could see from time to time. Great bike trail possibilities.

Drove by Wasatch Mountain SP in the am. Looks interesting for later on in the week?

Remains of Elk/deer. Hard to say at this stage.
