Day 4 Heavenly. Nice day with no lines and low wind. I ended up talking to two sets of locals on different lift rides that both brought up the forest fires. They said the smoke was intense for over a week. Both groups had to evacuate their houses. One in South Lake Tahoe and another outside of town to the South. The one group pointed out an area in the Nevada side of the ski resort that partially burned.
the afternoon turned into Spring skiing for the first time this trip. Fun as it didn't get too warm so the snow was great.
Tomorrow could be too windy? A storm coming through tonight into tomorrow am. We shall see.
The first four pictures are the gondola ride up. Had it to myself today for the first time. Usually there is a line in the AM.
